I’m Carmella Rayone,

(it rhymes with stone), a Wyoming designer and writer.

A regard for journey has lead me to be a curator of moments. A love of words has made me into an artist of phrase. An affinity for architecture and interior design has formed me into a student of home and a creator of places that feed the soul.

I live in a small, thoughtful house with my husband and two of our three, nearly grown, sons near Sheridan, Wyoming. Our ever-so-sweet canine companion is Nellie Belle. Outside live our three kitties: Mama, Peanut, and Tux.

I’m glad you’re here.

I believe in home, where decor may be as simple as hand-gathered wildflowers, and furnishings as meaningful as down-seated chairs. Where the imperfect and the masterful fall in step; where the rustic and the refined go hand in hand. Where the calm of a timeless aesthetic creates a home that is quietly impactful, nuanced, authentic. A becoming home.

In these pages, you’ll find thoughts, ideas, and resources that connect you with home and the experience of living well, where tasteful design and simple living meet in an inspired, organic way.
