Merry Christmas and How To Wrangle A Run-Away Dog
Merry Christmas! A bit late for you, I know, but for us, it's right on time. Today is Christmas Day at the little house. We are so ready! When aviation takes our guy away over the real holiday, there's not much else to do but make up our own. December 28th, you're a fine day (if not a bit windy). The boys are hanging out in their matching flannel pajama pants (our Christmas Eve tradition since they were tiny guys - they get to open one present, matching pj pants. Mamas, how long will they let me do this??), eating, playing basketball, watching funny shows. There's been talk of board games later - whatever we can do to pass the time until we hear the Jeep pull into the driveway.
I'll be in the kitchen, with my apron on, making a batch of lefse for the Norwegian men in my life. Take care of the ones you love as you finish out this holiday week, friends! I'll see you back here on Monday.
P.S. Oh, Nellie! She wasn't one bit interested in sitting still for a family picture - too many trails to follow, too many snowbanks to sniff! Good thing we have a fur-wrangler!
