Today, I Love

Today, I Love is a series that captures the significance of inconsequential moments.

That, although the basil is dismal, the tomatoes are ripening so very late, and the peppers have struggled, the broccoli, oh, the broccoli! is ready to harvest by the basketload.

That I sneaked a batch of cookies into a box bound for college.

When a package comes, you open the box, and it feels like a gift.

Picking up the nearly-finished knitting once again. Just in time for fall.

Finding another storm.

________

Oh, it was good to collect these images, to post them up here, to feel like I'm stepping back into my sweet, familiar place. Hello, loves. School's back in session (and yay! I'm leaving to watch the first football game of the season in just a few minutes!), the college athlete is settled into his dorm room and is training with his team, and that ever-so-slight, unnameable shift has touched the air. Late summer. I'm excited about entering this stretch ahead that feels so new.

As always, loves, thanks so much for reading here and supporting my work. You make all this possible! Want a chance to visit with me over a cup of tea? Here's how.

Wishing you the loveliest of weekends, friends!
